CO and Methane Detection
Covers 10–500 ppm CO and 300–10,000 ppm CH4.
The MQ-9B is a SnO₂ semiconductor sensor for carbon monoxide and methane. Its cyclic heater detects CO during low-temperature operation and supports methane response during the high-temperature phase.
A dual-gas semiconductor sensor for CO and CH4 leakage alarms in residential and industrial equipment.
Sensor conductivity rises as the concentration of carbon monoxide or methane increases and can be converted into an electrical output through a simple circuit.
Its wide methane range, CO sensitivity, long life and low component cost suit household, kitchen, industrial and portable alarms.
Covers 10–500 ppm CO and 300–10,000 ppm CH4.
Uses high- and low-temperature heater phases for detection and surface cleaning.
Conductivity can be measured with an adjustable load resistance.
A mature semiconductor structure supports cost-sensitive products.
Official specification lists a 10-year lifespan.
Supports methane leakage detection up to 10,000 ppm.
