Miniature Planar Structure
Uses a subminiature Al₂O₃ ceramic hot plate in a Ø9.4 mm package.
The MP-9 is a miniature flat-surface metal-oxide semiconductor sensor for carbon monoxide and methane. Its planar ceramic structure and cyclic heater provide dual-gas sensitivity in a compact Ø9.4 mm package.
A small, low-cost CO and CH4 sensor for domestic, industrial and portable gas alarms.
The sensor detects CO during the low-temperature heater phase and responds to CO and methane during high-temperature operation while cleaning the sensing surface.
The conductivity change can be converted into a concentration-related output with a simple external circuit.
Uses a subminiature Al₂O₃ ceramic hot plate in a Ø9.4 mm package.
Covers 50–1000 ppm CO and 300–10,000 ppm methane.
Specified heater consumption is 240 mW or less.
Sensor resistance can be measured through a basic load circuit.
Designed for high-volume gas alarm products.
Suitable for compact and price-sensitive safety equipment.
