Good H2 Sensitivity
Designed for hydrogen detection across the specified 100–1000 ppm range.
The Winsen MQ-8 is a low-cost SnO2 semiconductor hydrogen sensor for 100–1000 ppm H2 detection. It offers good hydrogen sensitivity, a simple drive circuit and long service life for domestic, industrial and portable gas alarms.
A widely used SnO2 semiconductor hydrogen sensor for cost-effective leakage alarms and portable gas detectors.
The MQ-8 sensitive material is SnO2, which has lower conductivity in clean air and higher conductivity as hydrogen concentration increases.
A simple external circuit can convert the conductivity change into an output signal related to hydrogen concentration.
Designed for hydrogen detection across the specified 100–1000 ppm range.
Suitable for cost-sensitive alarm and detector designs.
Official specifications list a 10-year life span.
Common metal-cap semiconductor architecture supports economical designs.
Used in domestic, industrial and portable gas detection equipment.
Official product information notes anti-interference to other gases.
